The Team

We are concerned Muslims, from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, united by: our belief (Tawheed), with conviction in the Qur’an (being the last revelation from Allah to mankind revealed to his last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Sunnah (injunctions, laws and practical examples of the Qur’an in action) of the Prophet (PBUH), and the rightly guided Predecessors (the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) and successive generations).

We are committed to the responsibility of our Shahadah (the testimony of a Muslim) and all that it testifies to, all that it denies and the conditions that are included within it.

We claim no affiliation with, and do not support, any sect or political ideology which deviates from the above principals – in belief or practice.

We ask Allah (Most Exalted is He) to accept our efforts which we do only in seeking His absolute pleasure and we ask His forgiveness for any mistakes we have made, due to our lack of knowledge or ignorance.

Our Mission

We pray that Allah, Almighty, record this effort as a good deed, done in defence of His religion (Islam) and solely for His pleasure, and that He make it reach and benefit those who need it most, and overlook our shortcomings and cover us all with His mercy in this world and purify us for the hereafter, Ameen

We do also translate Arabic islamic books to English, which you will find under “IslamBasics Exclusive” link. We try to pick the books that we feel give answers to questions that concern non-muslims as well as muslims and we could find such material easily when we looked online.

To the best of our knowledge, none of the books and images throughout our website are copyrighted. If you find any copyrighted material, please email us so that we can remove it, or secure permission to make it available here.

Many non-muslims and new muslims that we meet everyday complained about the lack of islamic books on the web, so we only collected books and added them to islambasics.

To remind Muslims of their responsibility to participate and support their brothers and sisters in Islam who are striving on a daily basis to fulfill the commandment of Allah (Most Exalted is He) in making La illaha ilallah the law of this world, insha’Allah.

To promote an accurate representation of Islam by providing correct information, thereby encouraging individual responsibility for seeking and acting upon the Truth.
